I’ve said it before: I’m a sucker for a good redemption story.

A self-taught painter, I layer quiet cloudscapes and textured abstracts onto canvases that were discarded or damaged in a previous life.  I’ve got a thing for cast-off materials:  scrap paper and ex-libris books, bits of vintage fabric and sheet music – sometimes even mis-tinted wall paint.  If this prevents me from being a “serious” artist, I’m completely okay with that.

There’s nothing too practiced, precious or perfect about any work you’ll see with my signature on it.  Each painting is a reminder to myself that sometimes, our loveliest moments are born in humble places … Or painful ones.
